What is Bachata?
Bachata is music and dance originating in the Dominican Republic. Today, Bachata is one of the most popular dance styles in the world, mainly due to its simplicity, playfulness and sensuality. Bachata can be divided into several styles, Traditional (Dominican) Bachata, Bachata Moderna and Bachata Sensual.
Do I need to have my dance partner?
You don't need a dance partner. In our lessons, the dancers take turns regularly to learn how to lead and follow properly. At the same time, we try to supplement the dance lessons so that the ratio in pairs is balanced.
How many dancers usually attend the lesson?
With regard to capacity we limit the lessons to 9 couples in the No Feet dance studio and to 9 people in the U Palečka dance studio.
Do I need to bring anything to class?
Take it with you comfortable clothes, clean indoor shoes and something to drink.
Where do dance lessons take place?
Pair dance courses are usually held in the Dance Studio NO FEET, Vaňkovo square 1a. Styling lessons with Renča take place in the Živo U Palečka dance studio, Koliště 23. The address is always given in the description of the specific course.
Can I sign up for just one lesson?
Yes you can. To register for one lesson, use the "Single Entry" option in our reservation system (Courses). You can also use this option if you only want to attend just first lesson. You can then decide whether to continue with the entire course. If reservations using "Single Entry" is not available, the entire course is occupied.
How to get here?
Dance studio NoFeet
If you are traveling by public transport, look for the stop "Vaňkovo náměstí" (trolley bus lines 38 and 39). The studio is located right next to the bus stop.
If you are traveling by car, the parking lot is at the roundabout approximately 50m from the studio and is free.
Živo U Palečka
If you travel by public transport, look for the "Malinovského náměstí" stop (tram lines 1, 3, 5, 6, 9 and bus 67).
If you are traveling by car, you can use the nearby parking lot. Studio is located near the city center, parking is paid.
What if my payment card is not working?
If it is not a security issue, then please try the following:
